By downloading or using MacTask, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
MacTask is a native macOS application that provides a desktop interface for Google Tasks. It is developed by Foundry Labs ("we", "us").
MacTask requires you to sign in with a Google account to access your tasks. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials. MacTask stores your OAuth token in your Mac's Keychain and uses it solely to communicate with Google's Tasks API on your behalf.
MacTask offers a 7-day free trial with full functionality. After the trial, continued use requires a purchase: either a one-time lifetime unlock or a monthly subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the Mac App Store. Refund requests should be directed to Apple per their refund policy.
We may offer free lifetime licenses to early users or through promotional campaigns. These licenses are non-transferable and may be revoked if obtained through fraud or abuse.
MacTask is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it working well, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service, compatibility with future macOS versions, or availability of Google's Tasks API. Google may change or discontinue their API at any time, which would affect MacTask's functionality.
We don't collect or store your data. Your tasks live on your Mac and Google's servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Foundry Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of MacTask. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
You can stop using MacTask at any time by deleting the app. We may discontinue MacTask at any time, though we'll provide reasonable notice if we do.
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
